Often times I get asked,

“how did you get the photos to turn out that way?  How did you get the lighting so perfect?”

… and my answer is always the same –

it is all about the Golden Hour!

Lighting so soft… your face looks flawless … and those golden tones in the background …so picture perfect for your photos! …Yupp …that is the Golden Hour!  99.9 percent of the time, I will not shoot outside the golden hour for this reason… pure perfection.  Light is finicky – and it can be your best friend if you know how to use it to your benefit.  Shooting during the golden hour is just one prime example of using light to your benefit.
