Cyrus’s graduation session was something special. Not just because he’s a UC Irvine graduate (go Anteaters!) or because the golden light at the beach that night was pure magic — but because his whole family came down from Northern California to be there for this milestone.
From the moment I met them, I could tell this was a close-knit crew. His parents, Simin and Ali, were beaming with pride. His sweet younger brother and grandma were there too — all dressed in soft, beachy neutrals that looked so beautiful against the ocean backdrop.
Cyrus was relaxed, kind, and such a natural in front of the camera. He carried himself with a quiet confidence that just felt so fitting for this moment — the kind that says, “I’ve worked hard, and I’m ready for what’s next.”
We laughed, explored the rocks, took our time, and captured a mix of portraits and family photos that I know will be treasured for years to come. It felt like a celebration in the best way — joyful, effortless, and full of love.
Graduations are such a beautiful reminder of how far someone has come, but also how much support and love carried them there. Cyrus, you are clearly so loved. Congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished — UCI is lucky to have had you.
