Imagine this: waves crawling up the shore, little toes covered in warm sand, the wind tousling everyone’s hair just right. The sun dips lower and lower, casting a soft golden glow over squealing kids running toward the water. It’s dreamy, it’s real, and yes – it’s exactly where some of the most treasured family portraits […]

Cyrus’s graduation session in Laguna Beach was filled with warmth, laughter, and family pride. His parents, brother, and grandma made the trip from Northern California to celebrate this milestone together, and the joy was contagious.

Time moves fast, but moments like these are worth holding onto. Whether it’s chubby toddler hands or quiet teenage glances, this post is a gentle reminder to pause and preserve the season you’re in – before it slips by.

As a photographer, I hear this question a lot — and I totally get it. On the surface, it can seem like you’re just paying for a quick hour of picture-taking, and you find yourself wondering, why in the world does it cost so much!?! But there’s so much more that goes into what you’re […]

Community is at the heart of my photography. My families and couples are the ones who cherish connection, celebrate their loved ones, and find beauty in the little moments. They inspire me every day to capture their warmth, love, and authenticity. Join me in celebrating the spirit of community – one portrait at a time.

“Intimate weddings are becoming more and more popular, and for good reason. They’re more personal, more affordable, and more focused on the couple. If you’re thinking about having a small wedding, here are a few tips to help you get started:

Choose the right venue. The venue is one of the most important decisions you’ll make when planning a wedding, so it’s important to choose a place that reflects your style and personality. If you’re having a small wedding, you might want to consider a backyard, a park, or a small restaurant.
Keep the guest list short. One of the best things about a small wedding is that you can really get to know your guests. If you’re struggling to keep the guest list short, try making a list of your must-have guests and then fill in the rest with people you’d like to have there.
Don’t be afraid to DIY. DIY projects can help you save money and add a personal touch to your wedding. If you’re not sure where to start, there are plenty of resources available online and in libraries.
Focus on the things that are important to you. When you’re planning a small wedding, it’s important to focus on the things that are important to you and your partner. Don’t worry about what other people think, and don’t feel like you have to do everything that’s traditionally done at a wedding.
Enjoy the day! The most important thing is to enjoy your day. This is a special time for you and your partner, so make sure to savor every moment.”
